Mysuru lad Suraj R. Prabodh, representing India and taking part in the 15,000$ India F4 Futures men’s tennis tournament at the Trivandrum Tennis Club’s Courts, went down to third seeded Arjun Kadhe of India in the quarter-finals of the men’s singles event on Thursday.
Playing a confident game and serving well, third seeded Arjun Kadhe scored a 6-2, 6-3 win over qualifier Suraj Prabodh in a tie which lasted for one hour and four minutes.
Arjun Kadhe served 14 aces and won 100% of his service games which proved vital. Suraj could only get 60% of his first serves in and committed too many unforced errors which was capitalised by Arjun Kadhe.
