The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has named Shikhar Dhawan as replacement for injured Murali Vijay for the upcoming Test series in Sri Lanka starting July 26. The Indian team led by Virat Kohli will take part in a full-fledged tour consisting of three Tests, five ODIs and a one-off T20I on July 19. Dhawan, who played his last Test in October against New Zealand, has been in top form of late and ended the ICC Champions Trophy in England and Wales as the leading run-getter. Dhawan scored 338 runs from 5 matches with the help of one century and two fifties in the tournament.
