Mysuru: The 78th Indian Road Congress (IRC) Convention will take place at the Bengaluru Palace Grounds from Nov.3 to 6.
Speaking to press persons here yesterday, PWD and District in-Charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa said about 16,000 Engineers are expected to register at the Congress. This was the third time that the Congress was taking part in the State, he said.
The 4-day Congress would discuss latest Engineering skills and designs and newer technology in road, buildings and bridge construction etc., among other Engineering advancements, he said and added that the Congress would also discuss road safety issues.
