The jersey barriers should be installed from Maharani’s College to Marigudi Junction on Valmiki Road, near Regional Commissioner’s official residence, with “No Parking” restrictions.
The barriers will stop the speeding motorcycle riders (boys) moving recklessly on this road during college hours in the morning and evening, with one or two having modified silencers producing raucous sound, which is a nuisance for the residents of this road. Also, now cars and tempos are parked on roadside which can be stopped if the road is made “No Parking” zone.
The Zebra crossing should be painted at the junctions for college students to cross the road safely.
