The stretch of Road connecting Jaladarshini Guest House on Hunsur Road to Valmiki Road junction was widened before Dasara. But there are no street lights in the said stretch though poles have been erected. As a result, it is very difficult in the night for road users.
The Traffic Police or the Home Guard who are posted in the junction of Valmiki Road – Hunsur Road Traffic Island are not visible during the night.
Before any untoward incident takes place, on behalf of the road users, I request the authorities concerned to install street lights in this stretch as early as possible.
