Mysore/Mysuru: The new committee of ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers) Student Chapter for the academic year 2022-23 was installed at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Maharaja Institute of Technology (MIT), Mysore, on May 17.
The dignitaries present on the occasion included Dr. Sabike Noobia, Deputy Environmental Officer, Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, Regional Office-1, Mysuru (Urban), Dr. B.G. Naresh Kumar, Principal, MIT, Mysore, Anilkumar, President, ISHRAE, Mysore Chapter, Dr. Mohamed Khaisar, Professor and HoD, Mechanical Engineering, MIT Mysore, Prof. E. Amruth, Student Chair, ISHRAE Mysore chapter. Prof. G.D. Chethana, Faculty Advisor & Secretary ISHRAE Mysore Chapter and Arani Srinivas, Refrigeration Chair of ISHRAE Mysore chapter.
Anilkumar installed the new committee by administering the oath to office-bearers. Later, a technical talk on “Individuals Role in Environmental Protection” was delivered by Dr. Sabike Noobia.
