Mysuru: The Department of Civil Engineering, Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering & Technology (VVIET), Mysuru, had organised an inter-college technical fest ‘VRUDDHI-2k19’ in city recently.
The function was inaugurated by Dr. M. Ravishankar, Principal of VVIET. Around 150 participants from various Engineering Colleges took part in events like Cognizance, Quantify, Prospectus (Paper Presentation) Plan it (Transferring the plan to the ground), Archicad and won many prizes. K. Subramanya Rao, Chairman, Builders Association India (BAI), Mysuru Chapter, who was the guest at the valedictory function, enlightened the students about the present Civil Engineering trends.
As part of ‘Vruddhi,’ Hit-it-Lagori was also organised in which 35 teams from various colleges participated and the prizes to the winners were given away by Subramanya Rao. Students of Maharaja Institute of Technology (MIT), Thandavapura, won the overall Championship Trophy, which was presented to them by Kaveesh V. Gowda, Secretary, VVET.
