Eight bikes worth Rs. 4 lakh recovered
Mysore/Mysuru: The District Crime Detection Squad has arrested an inter-district two-wheeler lifter and have recovered eight motorbikes worth Rs. 4 lakh from him.
A complaint regarding a two-wheeler parked near a shop at Hullahalli in Nanjangud, being stolen was lodged at Hullahalli Police Station, following which SP N. Vishnuvardhan had constituted Crime Detection Squad, led by Additional SP L. Nagesh.
ASI Satish and staff comprising Abdul Lathif, Bhaskar and Ashok, arrested the accused and recovered eight stolen bikes from him. The recovered bikes are as follows: Hero Splendour Plus (KA-09-HH-1915) stolen from Hullahalli Police limits; Two Passion Pro bikes (KA-55-Q-2980 and KA-53-S-9297) and Honda Plus (KA-09-EH-7663) stolen from Mysuru’s Devaraja Police limits; Passion Pro (KA-45-K-9709) stolen from KR Police limits in Mysuru; Honda Splendour Plus (KA-11-W-5811) and Honda Splendour (KA-55-J-2009) stolen from Mandya West Police limits; Splendour Plus (KA-11-EL-0048) stolen from Mandya East Police Station.
