Mysuru: Noted labour union leader from Bengaluru B. Pompanna will feature in ‘Sadhakarondiga Samvada’ a monthly interaction meet with achievers, organised by Mysore Art Gallery at its premises on 12th Cross, Ramanuja Road in city at 11am tomorrow (Feb.10).
BEML Mysuru Union Leader N.K. Devadas will be the Chief guest. B. Pompanna, a native of Ballari, after completing his ITI and B.A. Degree, joined BEML, Bengaluru in 1979.
He later did his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, following which he engaged in Labour Union activities, always responding to the problems of the working class in the factory.
He also took part in various Kannada activities and became an affectionate leader of workers serving in the BEML. He had launched many successful movements for the cause of labour while serving in the factory.
