NAREDCO Mysuru in association with MUDA will be conducting a public awareness and interaction programme on ‘Sustainable Cities: Integrated Approach Pilot’ (SCIAP) project in city tomorrow. UN Habitat City Planning Specialist Mansi Sachdev, Rinky Haldar, MUDA Chairman H.V. Rajeev, MUDA Commissioner Dr. D.B. Natesh and others will attend the breakfast meeting to be held at Hotel Southern Star on Nov.13 at 8.30 am.
Mysuru has been selected under the Sustainable Cities: Integrated Approach Pilot (SCIAP) project which aims to integrate sustainability strategies into urban planning and management of cities and to create a favourable environment for investments in transformative projects, infrastructure and service delivery for building the resilience of cities.
The project adopts an evidence-based approach to prepare city profiles and diagnostics reports based on a “Sustainability and Resilience Assessment Framework.” The project is funded by GEF-6 through UNIDO and is being piloted in Bhopal, Guntur, Jaipur, Mysuru and Vijayawada. Naredco Mysuru and MUDA has invited all industry captains, real estate developers and professionals, architects, town planners, builders and developers, all related associations and allied agencies to attend this interaction.
