Mysuru: With effect from July 11, 2017 a new rule called The Karnataka Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Rules, 2017 has come into force. The rule seeks to protect home-buyers as well as helps to boost the investments in the real estate industry.
The rule makes it mandatory for all commercial and residential real estate projects where the land is more than 500 square meters, or eight apartments to register with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) for launching a project. A deliberation has been arranged with RERA experts CA T. Vinay and Suhail Ahamed, Advocate from Bengaluru, on July 28 between 10 am and 1 pm at Hotel Kings Kourt on JLB Road here.
