Mysuru: Mysuru Art Gallery has organised the monthly ‘Saadakarondige Samvada,’ an interaction with achiever B.N. Nataraj, Litterateur and Thinker, on Oct. 14 at 11 am at its premises on Ramanuja Road in city.
Profile: Nataraj, who has the distinction of having been in the forefront of Navodaya literature, was recognised at the young age of 13 for reading out the Chutuku Kavana (Limericks) by none other than Kuvempu, who gave him the title Kumarakavi.
He served in the Administrative wing of the University of Mysore for 39 years. His interests are varied, which includes drawing, acting in plays, direction, collecting coins, stamps, notes and rare artefacts. He also has the tiniest dictionary in his collection. Nataraj has participated in Dasara Kavi Ghosti several times and won laurels. He has also the distinction of delivering 100 lectures throughout the State in a year, according to a press release from Mysuru Art Gallery President L. Shivalingappa.
