Mysuru: As part of its Interaction with Achiever-38 programme, Mysore Art Gallery has organised an interaction with artist K. Vittal Bhandari at the Gallery premises on Ramanuja Road in city at 11 am tomorrow (Feb.9).
Ramsons Kala Pratishtana (RKP) President D. Ram Singh will inaugurate. Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath-Bengaluru Vice-President Ramakrishnappa will be the chief guest. RKP Secretary R.G. Singh, artists Jayadev, Aravinda Katti and Dr. Geethanjali will be the special invitees.
Profile: Hailing from a farmer’s family of Kombardka Beedu near Puttur in Dakshina Kannada district, Vittal Bhandari is an alumnus of Chamarajendra Technical Institute and is well-versed in line art.
He has served as the main artist at Regional Design and Technical Development Centres in Handicrafts for over 32 years. He is the Executive Committee Member of Karnataka Chithrakala Parishath for the last 50 years.
