Mysuru: Vijaya Vittala Composite PU College had organised an interaction programme between II PUC and competitive exams toppers with present II PU students at the college auditorium recently.
Speaking after inaugurating the programme, College Principal H. Satyaprasad attributed the interaction conducted every year to inspire, encourage, stimulate and motivate the students to achieve in PU examinations and excel in competitive exams.
He advised the students to reach their goals through persistent hard work, proper planning and time management.
Calling upon the students to utilise all their potentials right from the beginning of the year to face challenges in competitive exams, he urged them to be humble by imbibing good qualities such as respecting both parents and teachers equally.
Achievers of II PU exams and competitive exams like NEET, JEE and KCET Anagha Karnis (37th rank in CET), R. Shreeprada (98%), K.C. Sanjana (97.5%), S. Anushree (97.16%) and C. Madhuchandra (NEET topper) shared their views on the importance of time management, conceptual learning, discipline and constant effort needed to prepare for board and competitive exams. Students should listen to all lecturers with keen interest and learn by preparing notes for all subjects including languages and stay away from spending time in social media. They also stressed on the importance of following prescribed text books and reference books and about the need for constant revision.
The achievers also interacted with the students and answered their queries.
