Interaction with veteran artist at Mysore Art Gallery tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysore Art Gallery will be hosting its 86th edition of ‘Saadhakarondige Samvaada’, a monthly interaction meet with achievers from different fields, at the Art Gallery premises on 12th Cross, Ramanuja Road in city at 11 am tomorrow (Nov.11).

This time, the interaction will be with veteran artist K.G. Lingadevaru of Bengaluru. Lingadevaru, who was born at Kadabagere in Bengaluru district, developed interest in painting and earned his Diploma in Arts from A.N. Subbaraya Kalamandira, Bengaluru. He has held many painting expos across the country and won many awards including the prestigious ‘Kuncha Kalanidhi’, ‘Varnasiri’ given by Karnataka Lalitkala Academy and National award by Pondicherry Art Academy. 

Journalist D.K. Halli Chandrashekar (Editor of Prajasathya daily) will inaugurate the art expo on the occasion. Babu Jatkar, former Principal of Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya and Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat, Bengaluru, will be the chief guest. Mysore Art Gallery Founder President L. Shivalingappa will preside.
