Mysore/Mysuru: A three-day interactive workshop on “Nuances of Research Ecosystem to Post-Graduate Pharmacy Students” was organised by JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, on Sept.13 at Sri Rajendra Auditorium, JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru.
Dr. Surinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, was the chief guest.
Addressing the students, Dr. Singh emphasised that only hard work is not enough to succeed but it is very important to plan and position to achieve the success. He also advised the students to be in the team of successful people to become successful.
The scientific sessions included preliminary aspects to research opportunities using sciVal, statistical analysis on preclinical studies, designing of research protocol, data generation, research & publication ethics, scientific writing skills, funding projects to carry out their research and effective utilisation of MoUs and research collaborations.
About 18 renowned speakers were invited to conduct the workshop over three days.
More than 150 M. Pharm students from all the Departments of the College attend the workshop and all the sessions were interactive.
Dr. T.M. Pramod Kumar, Principal, JSS College of Pharmacy, presided. Dr. V. Prashanth, Director Research (I/C), JSS AHER and Dr. Vishal Kumar Gupta, Deputy Director (Academics), JSS AHER, were also present in the inaugural function.
After invocation, Dr S.N. Manjula, Convener of the programme, welcomed. Dr. Anand Kumar Tengli proposed a vote of thanks.
