Mysuru: Swasti Contemporary Art Gallery, an initiative of the HCG Foundation based in Bengaluru, in collaboration with I Am 2024, Itsy Bitsy, IHDUA and Bharath Hospital and Institute of Oncology (BHIO) in Mysuru, will be conducting International Art Camp at Bharath Cancer Hospital premises in Hebbal from Nov. 14 to 23.
Addressing mediapersons in city, Bhagya Ajaikumar, Director of Swasti Gallery, said that the event features distinguished artists from India, Argentina, Germany, Malaysia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Romania and Taiwan.
On Nov. 23, the art works of artists will be displayed between 10 am and 5 pm at the hospital and entry is free for the public.
On Nov. 24, the expo will be held in Bengaluru, before the works are showcased at Swasti Gallery from Nov. 25. The exhibition will run for a month, offering art lovers an opportunity to view and purchase the artworks. All proceeds from the sales of these artworks will be donated to HCG Foundation, which supports cancer patients in need of medical assistance, she said.
Bhagya said about 4,500 patients had been benefited through HCG Foundation and Swasti Gallery. K. Dheekshetha, Coordinator of Swasti, was also present at the press meet.
