International Conference on Sustainable Brain Health

Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Pharmacology, JSS College of Pharmacy, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSSAHER), Mysuru, will host the International Conference on Sustainable Brain Health: Advances in Neurochemistry & Neuropharmacology (JSS-SNCI-CON2025) along with the 39th Annual Meeting of the Society for Neurochemistry, India, from Nov. 17 to 19 at JSS College of Pharmacy.

Addressing media persons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan in city yesterday, Dr T.M. Pramod, Principal, JSS College of Pharmacy, stated that the Conference will serve as a transformative platform for young researchers, clinicians and the pharmaceutical industry. “This landmark event will bring together eminent neuroscientists and clinicians from around the world to discuss advances in brain and mental health research. Interdisciplinary collaboration between JSS Hospital’s Departments of Neurology and Psychiatry will highlight the integration of clinical and experimental neuroscience.

A major highlight of JSS-SNCI-CON2025 will be the inauguration of the Centre of Excellence in Brain, Behaviour and Cognitive Neurosciences Research, to be formally launched under the auspices of the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (IUPHAR), USA.

Dr. P. Prakash Babu, Vice- Chancellor, Pondicherry University, Pondicherry, will  be the chief guest during the inauguration tomorrow (Nov. 17) at 10 am. Dr. H. Basavanagowdappa, Vice-Chancellor, JSS AHER, Mysuru, will preside over the inaugural.
