Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. Hanumanthachar Joshi, Professor and Principal, Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, has been awarded with the prestigious Times Cyber Media Group’s “International Healthcare Award” for his exemplary contributions to the field of Dementia Research, Care, Advocacy and Social Work for the year 2019-20.
Brett Lee, Legendary cricket player, was the chief guest at the awards function held in Mumbai on Nov.1.
Dr. Joshi was honoured for his contributions to the research on Alzheimer’s disease drug discovery and process. He has published more than 217 research papers in international and national scientific journals; delivered talks at 153 Conferences as resource person and visited 37 countries on invitation.
He is the President of Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India, Mysuru Chapter and Peoples’ Association for Geriatric Empowerment, Mysuru, which are actively involved in creating awareness about management, care and treatment of Dementia.
