Arun Bhardwaj, International Marathoner and the first Indian to complete Kashmir to Kanyakumari by foot run, who has now embarked on a Bengaluru-Mysuru-Bengaluru Inspirational Run, will be arriving in city this evening.
Bhardwaj, who left Bengaluru yesterday (Dec.2) at 7 am, passed through Kengeri, Ramanagara, Channapatna, Maddur, Mandya and Srirangapatna to reach Mysuru this evening.
He will arrive at Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple at the Palace North Gate at around 5 pm, where he will be accorded a warm welcome by Mitra Foundation and Vision Team of Mysuru.
Bhardwaj, who will stay for the night in the city, will leave for Bengaluru on his return run tomorrow (Dec.4) morning but via a different route.
Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha and Cauvery Heart and Multispeciality Hospital Chairman Dr. G. R. Chandrashekar will flag off the run from Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple. On his return run, Arun Bhardwaj will pass through Bannur, Malavalli and Kanakapura to reach Bengaluru. Run finale will be held at the Glass House in Lal Bagh at 4.30 pm on Dec. 5.
