Mysuru: Karnataka Urdu Academy and Muslim Co-operative Bank Ltd., have jointly organised an International Nathiya Mushaira and Seminar tomorrow (Sunday).
In the first session, the seminar will be held at 3 pm at the Meeting Hall (2nd floor) of the Bank on New Sayyaji Rao Road. Hazrath Moulana Mohamed Usman Shariff Saheb, Sir Khazi of Mysore, will grace the occasion.
Former Minister and MLA Tanveer Sait will inaugurate the Seminar.
Mubeen Munawer, Chairman, Karnataka Urdu Academy, will preside.
Dr. Syed Taqi Abidi, Poet and Critic, Canada, will deliver the keynote address.
Akram Pasha, Deputy Commissioner, Hassan, will be felicitated on the occasion. Ariff A. Mehkri, Chairman, Mysore District Wakf Advisory Committee, Dr. Abdul Ravoof, President, Muslim Co-operative Bank, Mir Humayun, former President and Director of the Bank, Taj Mohamed Khan, Hon. Secretary, Rifahul Muslimeen Educational Trust, Hazrath Moulana Syed Mohamed Abbas Sajjjadi and Abdul Azeez Chand Saheb, Secretary, Darul Uloom Siddiqia, will be the chief guests.
Hazrath Moulana Mufthi Baqar Arshad Saheb, Janab Aleem Saba Naveedi, Janab Ghulam Rabbani Fida, Janab Sulaiman Khan and Dr. Siraj Khadri will present papers on various subjects.
In the second session, International Nathiya Mushaira (International Poets Meet) will be held at 9 pm.
Mubeen Manawer, Chairman of the Academy, will preside. International Poet Shafiq Abidi will compere.
