International Women’s Week at NIEIT

Mysuru:  NIE Institute of Technology (NIEIT), Mysuru had organised a talk on Women Empowerment recently, to commemorate International Women’s Week.

Anuradha Nandakumar, Rehabilitator, Rehabilitation Council of India, who was the chief guest, highlighted the importance of expression in one’s life and also the struggle a mother undergoes in bringing up a child. She emphasised the need of empowering the mentally and physically challenged people in the society.

Prof. T. Ananthapadmanabha, Principal, NIEIT welcomed. R. Lakshmi, Assistant Professor, CSE Department, introduced the chief guest.

D. Rajeshwari, Assistant Professor, ISE Department compered. H.S. Madhusudhan, Assistant Professor, CSE Department, proposed a vote of thanks.

The event was organised under the banner of  the Institute’s Women Grievances and Redressal Forum.
