Mysuru: Bhavan’s Priyamyada Birla Institute of Management (BPBIM) hosted the release of the book titled ‘Patanjali Code’ authored by International yoga teacher Dr. Neel Kulkarni, who has founded a new yoga system called Adhiyoga.
After releasing the book, Yogaratnakara, Yogavisharada B.N.S. Iyengar, who is one of the senior and popular Yogacharya of Mysuru, stated that the contribution of the author in his new book is remarkable and unique to yoga literature. He dealt at great length on how the philosophy of yoga safe patanjali evolved in ancient India and how it has reached its present popular form.
The author then spoke about the importance of chanting the yoga sutras rhythmically with a demo.
Dr. A.T. Bhasyam, speaking about the book, said how the author has reclassified the difficult-to-learn Patanjala sutras and how the book helps the yoga student to learn from the easy to the more complex Kaivalya (Liberation) sutras.
Musician Dr. Manik Bengeri also spoke.
BPBIM Chairman N. Ramanuja stated that the practice of yoga helps in stress-busting.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB) Mysuru Chairman Dr. A.V. Narasimhamurthy presided.
