Mysuru: Hassan District Planters Association will celebrate International Coffee Day on Oct. 1 in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at Mysore Palace North Gate at 10.30 am.
Addressing media persons at Pathrakartara Bhavan here, Association Hon. Secretary K.B. Lohith said that the event would be inaugurated by Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar. Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji and Sri Adichunchanagiri Mutt Seer Sri Somanatha Swamiji will grace the occasion.
Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda, Association President A.S. Paramesh, Coffee Board President M.J. Dinesh, CEO Dr. K.G. Jagadish and others will be present.
On the occasion, the Association will distribute free coffee for 15,000 people.
