Mysuru: University of Mysore is organising a two- day international conference on Nanomaterials and their Applications on March 1 and 2, supported by UGC CPEPA, UPE and DST PURSE Programmes.
The conference will be a multidisciplinary forum for discussions and deliberations on bridging gap between fundamental laboratory research and its application in engineering, biology, food industry and medicine.

On March 1, the inaugural address will be delivered by Prof. G. D. Yadav, Vice-Chancellor, Institute of Technology, Mumbai. Prof. K. Byrappa, VC of Mangalore University, will be the chief guest. Prof. N. R. Shetty, Chancellor, Central University of Karnataka, will be the guest of honour and release a book on Nanotechnology Applications in the Food Industry (edited by Prof. V.
