Intl. Shuttler Diya Bheemaiah feted

Mysuru: There is no stopping for a person who is dedicated and hunger for success, said Abhimanyu Academy CEO and Olympian Arjun Devaiah, here yesterday.

He was speaking after presenting the ‘Rotary Midtown Wekreate Space Sports Award 2024’ to International Shuttler Diya Bheemaiah at a ceremony held at Rotary Midtown Academy Auditorium in Hootagalli.

“Reaching the desired goal is not as easy as posting a comment on the social media. It is a penance which one has to practice,” he said and added that the teachers and parents have to identify the talent of the students at an young age and encourage them to the pursue their favourite sports.

Taking an exception on usage of mobile phones, Arjun Devaiah said that a person can represent in State and National events only by hardwork and dedication. “However, it is important to stay away from mobile phones while in pursuit of success,” he added.
