Mysore/Mysuru: JSS Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysuru, has been one of the 300 institutions of JSS Mahavidyapeetha.
The Institute imparts training at under-graduates, post-graduate and doctoral levels in the field of Speech and Hearing and is affiliated to the University of Mysore (UoM) and also recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India. The JSS Institute has also been recognised as ‘Research Centre’ from UoM.
To mark its 20th anniversary, JSS Institute of Speech and Hearing is organising a six- day international webinar on “Recent Advances in the Clinical Management of Speech and Language Disorders” from July 12 to 19.
Dr. C.G. Betsurmath, Executive Secretary, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, will be inaugurating the webinar at 10 am on July 12.
R. Mahesh, Director, Medical Education Division, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, will preside. Dr. B. Rajashekhar, former Dean, College of Allied Health Sciences and Professor, Department of Speech-Language Pathology, KMC, Manipal, will be delivering the keynote address.
Twenty eminent speakers from India and abroad in the field of speech and hearing will be delivering lectures.
More than 1,000 participants from India, UAE, London, USA, South Africa, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have registered to the webinar online.
The webinar will focus on enlightening the recent therapy procedures used in treating various speech and language disorders, according to a press release from the Institute Director.
