Social Welfare Department has invited entries from Scheduled Class Co-operative Societies for financial assistance in the form of share capital to economically strengthen the society. The eligible Co-operative Society should have 70% of the members from SC and 30% from ST/Backward Classes and should have registered as per the stipulated Act. The share capital offered by the Government will be 50% of the shares contributed by the members or maximum of Rs.10 lakh.
