Mysore/Mysuru: Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a Government of India enterprise under Ministry of Railways, has launched Bharat Darshan Tourist Train by the name “Punya Teerth Yatra Tour” for general public. This most affordable all-inclusive train tour package starts from Madurai via Bengaluru (Whitefield Railway Station) on Sept. 12 for 9 nights and 10 days covering the major pilgrim/tourist destinations of Puri- Konark- Kolkata- Gaya- Varanasi-Prayagraj.
IRCTC has also launched the following domestic flight packages to popular tourism destinations:
Sept. 24 (6 Nights/ 7 Days) – Gujarat: Dwarka- Somnath- Ahmedabad- Vadodara (Statue of Unity); Oct. 1 (6 Nights/ 7 Days)- Rajasthan: Udaipur- Jodhpur- Pushkar- Jaipur; Nov.18 (5 Nights/ 6 Days) – Sikkim & Darjeeling: Kalimpong- Gangtok- Darjeeling; Dec.10 (5 Nights/ 6 Days) – Andaman: Port Blair, Havelock, Neil, Rose & North Bay Islands.
