Irregularities in Constables recruitment: Samithi to wage legal battle

Mysuru: Alleging that irregularities had taken place in the written test for recruitment of Civil Police Constables in 2014-15, Brashtachara Nirmoolana Samithi has called up on all affected candidates to join hands with it for getting justice.

Addressing a press meet here yesterday, Samithi Convenor Rajesh Gadi said that 1,824 candidates had appeared for the written test that took place at Maharaja’s College. But, a woman candidate was shown favour by allowing her to write the test alone in another room, he alleged.

Stating that he had lodged a complaint with the then City Police Commissioner and the ADGP (Recruitment and Training) in this regard on Mar. 31, 2015, Rajesh Gadi maintained that his complaint was not looked into by the Police. As such, he moved the Karnataka High Court on Oct. 28, 2018.  The Court after hearing his plea, permitted for proceeding the case and in this backdrop, he has made an appeal for all affected candidates to join hands with the Samithi to get justice, he said and added that he can be contacted on Mob: 99723-39292.
