ISHRAE hosts workshop on Heating, Ventilation, AC & Refrigeration

Mysore/Mysuru: ACRESERVE 2020-21, a one-day workshop on Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC&R) was organised by The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), Mysuru Chapter, at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) Training and Placement Seminar Hall recently.

Speaking after inaugurating the workshop, Vidyavardhaka Sangha (VVS) Secretary P. Vishwanath, who was the chief guest, said that refrigeration and air-conditioning industries have good prospect and have been very active over decades. “This kind of workshop will greatly benefit the service providers, technicians, industry professionals and engineers in an effective way,” he added.

VVCE Principal Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda emphasised on the importance of refrigeration and air-conditioning for engineers and its benefits. He said that this workshop will impart technical skills and competence among all.

ISHRAE Mysuru Chapter Past President and Past Regional Director P.V. Bharadwaj briefed about the significance of the workshop and opined that this chapter has been active from past 25 years and has organised over 100 similar workshops for the benefit of engineers and technicians.

VVS Treasurer Srishaila Ramannavar was the guest of honour. ISHRAE Mysuru Chapter President H.M. Sujatha, Immediate Past President T.A. Prabhakar, President-elect D.K. Dinesh Kumar, Treasurer Anil Kumar Nadiger, Secretary S.A. Mohan Krishna and others were present on the occasion.

Talks on HVAC&R, air conditioning services, electrical safety and other related aspects were delivered by subject-related experts. Resource persons, including Raja Sriraam, an air conditioning professional from Chennai, Anil Kumar Nadiger, Managing Director, Rachana Ener Care, Arani Srinivas, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC)  and Ramesh Raman delivered talks on various subjects.
