Mysuru: Gold Medals and prizes will be distributed to meritorious students of Marimallapa’s PU College during Gurikar Marimallappa Samsmaranotsava at the College premises at 9 am on June 17.
ISRO Chairman A.S. Kiran Kumar will confer the medals and deliver the felicitation address. Deputy Director of Pre-University Education (DDPUE) Jayapraksh and Marimallappa’s Educational Institutions Hon. Secretary K.N. Panchakshara Swamy will be the chief guests. Mariamallappa’s Educational Institutions Hon. President S. Paramashivaiah will preside.
Gurikar Gold Medal, instituted in memory of Marimallappa’s Educational Institutions Founder Gurikar Marimallappa, will be presented to Sowbhagya and G.M. Sudeep (SSLC).
Mathrushri Gold Medal, instituted in memory of Gurikar Marimallappa’s wife Mallamma, will be presented to Hamsashri (SSLC) and S. Kavya, who secured first rank in BA (University of Mysore) and Bhagyashilpi Gold Medal, instituted in memory of the Institution’s Honorary President K.N. Shivalingaiah, will be presented to Ayesha Miryam (SSLC).
