iSteer Technologies conducts two-day Technical Conclave

Mysuru: iSteer Technologies, an IT Services and Product Company headquartered in Bengaluru, conducted its annual offsite Technical Conclave, iSteer Connect 2024, recently in Mysuru.

The theme for this year’s conclave focused on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and enhanced Data Protection Regulations which are extremely crucial in the current scenario. Several industries such as manufacturing, construction and FMCG have clear cut regulations on their carbon emissions. However, it is interesting to note research is beginning to catch up on carbon emissions by the IT industry as well.

iSteer, an early adopter of such compliances, is leading the way in its industry and setting a benchmark for others to follow suit and be conscious of its carbon footprint.

The two-day event had 10 teams participating in a challenging Hackathon.  iSteer employees from Singapore and Vietnam also attended the technical conclave.

The event had guest speakers such as M.P. Shyamala, an inspiring 65-year-old mountaineer, who was part of the premiere group of all-women Trans Himalayan Expedition comprising women over 50 years of age.

There was also a fireside chat with chief guest Muralidharan Chandrasekaran, an IT professional working with several companies to tackle global warming.

Prof. D. Anand, Senior Professor at University of Mysore, delivered a session on Emotional Intelligence for Social Fitness.

iSteer Technologies was incorporated in Mysuru in 2009 and later moved its operations to Bengaluru. Its CEO & Founder, Umashanker Krishnamaraju, is a global leader in IT integration services and comes from a rich experience working in IT sectors for over two decades in Japan, USA and UK.

iSteer Founding Directors and Leadership team comprising K. Umashanker, CEO & Founder, Jeyaraj Thomas, CTO, Anita U. Raju, Director – HR & Operations, Mohamed Riyaz, Director – iSteer Singapore and Edmund Abreo, Director, were also present during the two-day event.
