Mysuru: Muslim leader and advocate Abdul Razak has said, anybody who was involved in stone pelting and assault of the Police at Udayagiri Police Station in the city is wrong and will issue a public apology in this regard.
He was speaking to media persons on his arrival in the city yesterday from Bengaluru, to argue on behalf of the suspects arrested by the Police in the stone pelting case, at the District Court premises.
Razak said, the First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against over 1,000 people in Udayagiri case, including innocents and minors. He was here to provide legal aid to the innocents and shall be holding a peace meeting of all community leaders of Udayagiri, to check recurrence of such incidents in the coming days.
