Mysore/Mysuru: Jagadguru Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Swamiji’s 110th Jayanti celebrations has been organised at Suttur Mutt premises, foot of Chamundi Hill, in city tomorrow (Aug. 29) as follows:
9.30 am: Nada Namana by JSS Fine Arts Troupe; 10 am: Arati and Pushpanjali to the Seer’s bust; 10.30 am: Stage programme – Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji and Siddaganga Mutt Seer Sri Siddalinga Swamiji will grace the occasion. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate. Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy will preside. District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa will release the book ‘Sarvadarshana Sangraha’ (4th edition), Minister K. Venkatesh will release ‘Kayaka Tapasvi’ (4th edition), MP Yaduveer Wadiyar will release ‘Prasada’ special edition and MP Sunil Bose will release JSS Newsletter special edition; 3 pm: Pratibha Puraskar and felicitation; 9 pm: Staging of play ‘Prabhulingaleele’ by Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Kalabalaga.

JSS Mahavidyapeetha Secretary-1 S.P. Manjunath said, a free health camp, distribution of fruits to patients, books, stationeries and uniforms to needy students, planting of saplings at schools and colleges, seminars and sports will be organised at various JSS Institutions.
Also, awareness will be created about eye, blood and body donation while prosthetics, wheelchairs and hearing aids will be distributed to the needy people, he added.
JSS Mahavidyapeetha Secretary-2 S.P. Shivakumaraswamy and Publication Division Director Morabada Mallikarjuna were present at the press meet.
