All senior leaders of the party, Ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, former Ministers, former legislators, 2024 Lok Sabha poll candidates, 2023 Assembly poll candidates, KPCC office-bearers, District and Block Congress Committee Presidents, former BBMP Corporators and local body representatives, are instructed to attend the rally without fail, the communiqué added.
Against Mysuru Chalo
The series of public rallies planned by Congress is seen as a counter to Mysuru Chalo Padayatra by BJP-JD(S) combine from Bengaluru, that kicks off tomorrow (Aug. 3) and concludes on Aug. 10 in Mysuru.
The Congress has chosen the venue of its rallies on Bengaluru-Mysuru route, one day prior to Mysuru Chalo, to expose the corruptions of BJP and JD(S).
DKS says…
In an emergency press meet convened at his Sadashivanagar bungalow in Bengaluru last night, DKS said, ‘we will raise the corruptions reported during BJP Government in the State and inform people about them. BJP leaders should answer to those queries.’
During the rallies, we will also tell the people about how BJP is making relentless efforts to destabilise Congress Government in the State, added Shivakumar.
