Jayakrishna (75), retired Revenue Department staff and a resident of KHB Colony in Kuvempunagar, passed away yesterday in city.
He leaves behind his wife, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this morning, according to family sources.
