Bengaluru: Worried by the BJP’s reported moves to poach MLAs from the ruling JD(S)-Congress coalition, Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has convened a JD(S) Legislature Party meeting at a private hotel in Hassan at 5 pm tomorrow (Sept.22).
The CM is said to have asked all the party MLAs and MLCs to attend the meeting. Kumaraswamy is likely to warn the party legislators not to fall prey to the BJP’s relentless efforts to poach them.
Meanwhile, the CM is leaving for Sringeri in Chikkamagaluru District. He will offer special prayers at Sringeri Sharadamba Temple tomorrow morning and then leave for Hassan.
