The Mysuru Division of Bharathiya Jain Milan, Zone-8, which had organised State-level Jina Bhajan contest at various parts of the State has scheduled the semi-final and finals at Kalamandira in city on Apr. 9 and 10. In all, 40 teams (1,500 members) have been selected for the semi-final round. The programme will be jointly inaugurated on Apr. 9 at 9 am by Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, Trishikha Kumari Wadiyar and Dilip Surana, Managing Director, Micro Labs Ltd., Bengaluru, in the presence of Kanakagiri Seer Sri Bhuvanakeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji.
Police Band and art troupes will accompany a procession prior to the inauguration. Vid. Sridhar Jain and Vidu. Sowmya Sridhar of Sri Nimishambha School of Dance and troupe will present a dance performance at 6 pm. Bharatiya Jain Milan National Executive President D. Surendrakumar, Vice-President Anitha Surendrakumar, Zone-8 President Pushparaj Jain, Vice-President Sheela Ananthraj and Secretary K. Yuvaraj Bhandary will be present.
The valedictory programme will be held on Apr. 10 at 4 pm. MP Pratap Simha will be the chief guest. Actor Srimurali and actress Prema will present awards to the winners.
