Job Melas on Oct. 12, 17

Mysuru: Mysuru Ganigara Hitaishigala Balaga in association with Udyogadata Foundation, has organised a Job Mela at Vidyavardhaka First Grade College on Seshadri Iyer Road in city on Oct. 12.

Rukmangada, President of Udyogadata Foundation, told media persons at Patrakarthara Bhavana in the city on Wednesday that the Job Mela will be held from 9 am to 4 pm and over 30 companies will be participating to recruit candidates.

The Job Mela has been organised for the benefit of unemployed persons belonging to various communities.

Registration is free and candidates who have passed SSLC, PUC, ITI and Diploma, Degree and higher education, can participate. Also a free health check-up camp is organised for women at the venue.

Divisional-level Job Mela

A Mega Divisional-level Job Mela has been organised on Oct. 17 at Maharaja’s College Grounds in the city.

Mysuru Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer (CEO) S. Ukesh Kumar chaired a preliminary meeting of Officers from various Departments at ZP Hall here on Wednesday.

With over 200 companies taking part in the Mela, Ukesh Kumar has appealed unemployed youths to utilise the opportunity.

Candidates holding Degree, Post-Graduate degree, SSLC and PUC qualified persons are eligible for Job Mela. Those who have enrolled under Yuva Nidhi Scheme of the State Government can also enrol their names.

In Mysuru district alone, 11,000 unemployed youths have been reaping the benefits of Yuva Nidhi. They should attend the Job Mela without fail, he said.

Already 16,000 candidates have applied online for the Job Mela. With the time left still to enrol the names, the unemployed candidates can do so via https://udyogamela.ksdckarnataka.com/user/signup
