JSS Law College students win Moot Court competition

Mysuru: The students of JSS Law College, Mysuru, emerged victorious in the 4th National Moot Court Competition-2024, organised by the School of Law at Presidency University in Bengaluru recently.

The competition featured a challenging moot problem revolving around critical aspects of the right to privacy and international diplomatic relations. Participants had to delve into complex questions of Constitutional law, international diplomacy and State sovereignty, making it a true test of their legal reasoning and advocacy skills before a panel of distinguished judges.

The winning team, comprising Anagha K. Bharadwaj, U.J. Sheethal and V. Surya, all final-year BBA LLB (Hons.) students of JSS Law College, Mysuru, showcased exceptional legal acumen and oratory skills to secure the top spot. They triumphed over 42 participating teams representing prestigious law institutions from across the country.

Justice Lingappa Narayana Swamy, a Judicial Member of the Lokpal of India, was the guest, along with Senior Advocate Pramila Nesargi. They provided valuable insights into the legal profession and presented the awards to the winners.
