JSS Medical College to host ‘Forensic Update 2025’ CME

Mysore/Mysuru:  The Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, JSS Medical College, Mysuru — under the aegis of JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER) — is organising a one-day Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme titled Forensic Update 2025 on Saturday (July 19).

With the theme “Exam-Oriented Training for FMT Residents,” the CME aims to provide focused academic support to postgraduate students of Forensic Medicine by addressing examination-relevant topics and practical clinical applications.

Dr. B.M. Balaraj, Retired Professor of Forensic Medicine, will be the chief guest at the inaugural session. Dr. B. Manjunatha, Registrar of JSS AHER and Dr. D. Narayanappa, Principal of JSS Medical College, will be the guests of honour.

The CME programme, held with the blessings of Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji of Suttur Srikshetra, will take place at the Golden Jubilee Digital Theatre, JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, and is expected to draw participants from medical institutions across the country.

The CME will feature academic lectures, case-based discussions and interactive modules aimed at enhancing core medico-legal competencies among budding forensic professionals.
