Mysuru: JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU) is conducting its ‘2nd Convocation’ at its campus in city on Saturday, Dec. 28 at 4 pm.
This was revealed by Vice- Chancellor of JSS Science and Technology University Dr. L. Jawahar Nesan at a press conference held at The Quorum Hotel, Vinoba Road in city yesterday.
M.Tech (167), 15 M.Sc. Chemistry, 68 MCA, 107 MBA, 37 MBA Corporate Finance and 21 MBA Retail Management candidates will be awarded degree after having duly completed all the requirements for the award of the said degrees. 22 medals will be awarded to the students, out of which 17 medals are for students who have scored highest marks in respective branches and also, 5 Endowment Medals will be awarded.
Degree and medals for the achievers of all the branches will be conferred by Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji. Dr. Rajkumar Khatri, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary & Principal Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Government of Karnataka will be the Chief Guest and deliver the Convocation Address.
The members of Board of Governors, Board of Management and Academic Council will be participating in the function. Dr. C.G. Betsurmath, Executive Secretary, JSS Mahavidyapeetha and Dr. K.N. Udayakumar, Controller of Examinations will administer the oath for the degree holders. Prof. M.H. Dhananjaya, Advisor, Technical Education Division; Dr. L. Jawahar Nesan, Vice-Chancellor, JSS Science and Technology University; Dr. K.S. Lokesh, Registrar, JSS Science and Technology University, will be present.
