Mysuru: As part of International Day of Persons With Disabilities and second anniversary of JSS Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Centre (JSS PMRC), a Wheelchair Rally has been organised by JSS College of Physiotherapy and JSS Hospital on Dec. 13 in city.
Addressing a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, Physiotherapist Preethi said that the wheelchair rally would begin from JSS Mahavidyapeetha Circle (Gun House Circle) at 10 am and will culminate at Rajendra auditorium in JSS Hospital where a stage programme will be held from 11 am.
She further said that JSS Mahavidyapeetha Executive Secretary Dr.C.G. Betsurmath and Peer Counsellor C.G. Ananda Tirtha will be the chief guests while District Disability Welfare Officer D.J. Mamatha and JSS College of Physiotherapy Principal and Deputy Director of JSS PMRC Dr. Kavitha Raja will be the guests of honour. JSS Mahavidyapeetha Medical Education Division Director R. Mahesh will preside.
Speech Language Therapists Bilva Shree and Craisy, Nurse Shivakumar and College staff Uttamraj were present.
