Mysuru: Quinnipiac University situated in Hamden, Connecticut, USA, a premier private sector University in the United States, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara (JSS) University, Mysuru.
The MoU was signed on May 26 in the presence of Dr. David Hill, Director, Institute for Global Public Health, Quinnipiac University; Dr. B. Suresh, Vice- Chancellor, JSS University; Dr. P. A. Kushalappa, Director-Academics, JSS University; Dr. Basavanagowdappa, Dean and Principal, JSS Medical College and other dignitaries.
The MoU will foster colla-borative research, student and faculty exchange programmes and Student and Faculty mobility to benefit both Universities, especially in the field of Public health, Infectious diseases, prevention and research on diseases like Malaria, Tuberculosis and other diseases and also research on advanced medical technological devices.
