Mysore/Mysuru: As part of 814th annual Sandal Urus Shariff of Hazarath Khwaja Gareeb Nawaz Chishti, Ajmeer Shariff, Rajasthan, Sarkar Mehaboob Subhani Foundation at Lashkar Mohalla had organised Juloose-e-Chistiya procession in city recently.
The procession, which began from Meelad Park Circle on Ashoka Road, comprised Ulmas, Arabic Madries staff and students among others.
Meena Bazar Merchants Association President Ilyas Baig Khadree, Moulana Fasiulla Warsi, Moulana Tabraiz Razvi, Moulana Mohd. Salman, Hafiz Amanulla Warsi, Alhaj Syed Yakub Sayeed, Bannimantap C- Layout social worker Mirza Jamsheed Baig Ashrafi, Hafiz Ansar Pasha and others took part in the procession which passed via Meena Bazar, Sawday Road, Dr. Zakir Hussain Circle, Mission Hospital, Eidgah Masjid Road, Pulikeshi Road and returned through K.T. Street and KR Park Road to reach Masjid-e-Azam.
Tight security was provided by the Police on the route. Fatha Khawni, Duwa (supplications) and tributes were offered for departed souls.
Sarkar Mehboob Subhani Foundation Convenor Hafeez Ulla Shariff Khadree felicitated the Ulmas. The Management of procession had organised lunch for the participants. Hafeez Ulla Shariff thanked Mysuru City Police Commissioner, Mandi and Lashkar Police Station staff for providing security during the procession.
