Bengaluru: First PUC supplementary exams will be held, in all likelihood, from July 16 to 27, amid growing Coronavirus cases in Bengaluru.
Regarding PUC supplementary examination, Karnataka Pre-University Education Department is expected to make a formal announcement in the very near future. According to reports, PU Board is about to give strict instructions to colleges to adhere to following safety precautions:
• To maintain social distancing in examination centres.
• To sanitise exam hall as soon as each examination is over.
• All students should undergo thermal screening before exam.
• All students should wear masks.
• All students should use sanitiser without fail.
• Students should not unnecessarily congregate in the vicinity of examination centres.
• Colleges should make proper seating arrangements for students to maintain social distancing.
• All necessary safety/ precautionary measures should be taken without fail.
• Parents should not be allowed to congregate near the exam centres.
In addition to above, for those students who are suffering from any illnesses and those who are residing in cantonment zones, proper seating arrangements will be made so that they will write exams in separate exam halls.
With all these safety measures, PU Board is mulling on completing PU supplementary exams before July 27.
