Jumboo Savari training for Dasara elephants

Dasara elephants rehearsed for Jumboo Savari at Mysore Palace premises yesterday. The Dasara elephants, led by Captain Abhimanyu, were made to stand in front of the Palace and lift their trunks much to the admiration of tourists and visitors who had come to the Palace. Dasara elephants Abhimanyu, Dhananjaya, Gopi, Bheema, Kanjan, Rohit, Ekalavya, Varalakshmi, Mahendra, Sugreeva, Lakshmi and Hiranya took part in the rehearsal. They were later taken out from the North Gate of the Palace to make them accustomed to the noise and sound of people and vehicles on the Jumboo Saravi route as part of route familiarisation exercise to them.
