The annual festival of Sri Mahalingeshwara temple, K. Hemmanahalli, Bogadi, Mysuru taluk, will be held on Feb. 24 a part of Shivarathri.
Rudrabhisheka will be held at every 6 hours commencing at 6am and concluding at 6 am the following day. Rural children will display their talents at 10 am followed by gopuja, matti puja and gejje puja for the Kari Bantana Kalaga Moodala Paaya Yakshagana prasanga.
In the evening, Puttasiddanaika will conduct Rangageethe followed by mythological drama Shani Prabhava by the artistes of Jettihundi village.
Devotees themselves can perform Abhisheka to the ancient linga kept in Ashoka Vana. They have to bring water and articles for puja. All are welcome.
