Mariyappa (75), a milk distributor and a resident of Krishna Rice Mill road in Chamaraja Mohalla, passed away yesterday in city.
He leaves behind two sons, five daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed this afternoon at the foot of Chamundi Hill, according to family sources.
